I am originally from the heart of "Cajun Country", Opelousas, LA. I have called Virginia Beach home since 1991. My youth was filled with extra-curricular activities centered around school, church and community and school athletics.
I married Mark in 2005, who is currently serving as a Naval Officer at Naval Base Norfolk. I am a proud stepmother to Hunter, who is 10. When I am not selling real estate, you will find me spending time with my family or friends, boating, scrapbooking, traveling, or watching my stepson play either baseball or soccer with the city youth league.
I take pleasure in volunteering as a Team Mom for baseball and helping coordinate various events associated with the local youth leagues. I also enjoy volunteering at my stepson’s school, Fairfield Elementary in VA Beach. I volunteer as Room Parent, Chairperson for the Book Fair and as Editor of the PTA Newsletter. Recently, I received the award for "Volunteer of the Month" for my dedication. Both my husband and I volunteer at Oceanfront festivals such as the Boardwalk Art Show, ECSC & The Neptune Festival.
We proudly support Friends of VA Beach Animal Control; where we find homes for abandoned pets. No home is complete without a pet. To see animals up for adoption, visit: www.beachpetpals.org . Additionally, we plan & organize fundraisers to raise money for Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society, as my husband is a cancer survivor of 4 years.
Majoring in Marketing/Psychology at LSU, I have a keen ear and am sensitive to the needs of my clients. Celebrating my 16th year in Real Estate, I have been selling homes most of my adult life. I rely on referrals, as it is the best compliment I can ever receive.
